Meet New Profit’s 2025 Mental Health Equity Catalyze Cohort

New Profit is excited to welcome eight new organizations to our 2025 Mental Health Equity Catalyze Cohort. This cohort will provide funding to organizations advancing equity in mental and behavioral health to build a healthier America.

Launched in 2022, New Profit’s Health Equity Catalyze Cohorts have invested in 32 innovative organizations, all working to build and support healthy communities, which are the basis for a thriving American democracy, workforce, and education system.

Organizations in the incoming cohort are focused on building healthier communities and advancing systems change approaches at the intersection of mental health and well-being and the social drivers of health. These organizations are driving innovation and cultural humility in mental and behavioral health care and services and are addressing the social drivers of mental and behavioral health, including but not limited to education, employment, social connection, and healthy relationships. They are utilizing diverse program models and approaches, leveraging technology, storytelling, policy advocacy, peer leadership, and other avenues to drive systemic change.

New Profit will provide $100,000 of unrestricted funding and $10,000 for leadership development, as well as strategic advisory support to each organization. Over the next year, cohort members will engage in a peer learning community that connects through virtual sessions and multi-day in-person convenings focused on building relationships with one another and tackling key leadership and organizational challenges.
