Sophie Levy

Sophie supports the fundraising and development efforts of the Education Team. She conducts donor identification, correspondence, and research to progress New Profit’s mission of reimagining the future of teaching and learning in America. Prior to her career at New Profit, Sophie served as a Fundraising Team Lead at the B-Corporation, DialogueDirect.

Sophie is a graduate of the School of International Service at American University (DC), where she concentrated on conflict resolution and cross-cultural communications. During her undergraduate studies, she spent a summer working as a Diversity and Social Justice Intern in Haifa and enrolled in an intensive Arabic language program, CET Jordan, where she spent seven months living and learning in Amman, Jordan. Most recently, she hiked the Pacific Crest Trail, a 2,650-mile continuous trail traversing the west coast of the United States.
