Monique Guevara

Monique plays a cross-cutting role to lead and support economic mobility initiatives across New Profit’s Catalyze and Build portfolios, including building out New Profit’s systems change arc within economic mobility field leadership. Monique worked to grow and manage PolicyLink’s local fine and fee justice strategy, advance the federal policy and advocacy portfolio, and support capacity-building of PolicyLink’s systems change partners.

Prior to PolicyLink, Monique worked as a Strategic Initiatives Advisor for the City of Seattle’s Department of Neighborhoods and as a Policy Analyst for Seattle’s Office of Police Accountability, and she has held numerous other roles from executive recruiting, to board consulting, research-based work, and social entrepreneurship.

Monique holds a Master’s of Public Administration from the University of Washington, Evans School of Public Policy and Governance and a BA in Sociology from UC Riverside.
