Jimmie Briggs

Jimmie is a writer and lecturer. Formerly a Principal at the Skoll Foundation overseeing its justice and equity work, he has 30+ years in the fields of journalism and advocacy. A co-founder and executive director emeritus of Man Up Campaign which activates youth to stop violence against women and girls, he is the author of the book, “Innocents Lost: When Child Soldiers Go to War,” taking readers into the lives of war-affected children around the world. He contributes to Vanity Fair, New York Amsterdam News and scores of other publications.
