Radically Imagining What an Inclusive, Healthy, and Responsive Democracy Would Look Like

On July 9th, New Profit hosted a 3-hour virtual roundtable discussion with 50 leading democracy entrepreneurs to radically imagine what an inclusive, healthy, and responsive democracy would look like.
A diverse group of organizations including Advance Native Political Leadership, BLOC Wisconsin, Emgage, Next 100, Open Primaries, Students Learn Students Vote Coalition, and Represent Us participated.
The roundtable discussion included breakout working sessions where democracy entrepreneurs had the opportunity to learn from each other and engage in active problem-solving discussions.
It also included an open discussion with Hahrie Han, Political Scientist and the Inaugural Director of the SNF Agora Institute at Johns Hopkins University and Nse Ufot, CEO of the New Georgia Project.
We look forward to sharing the key takeaways and insights in a report to be released this fall. For now, please check out the video and let us know what you think.
