We provide unrestricted grants and strategic advisory support to organizations led by visionary social entrepreneurs to increase their impact, growth, and sustainability. We are committed to meeting the specific and shifting needs of each organization we fund and support.
Through our portfolio investing, we expand access and opportunity in communities that have been consistently and systematically under-resourced. We invest in organizations with a range of impact models that seek to transform the intertwined systems of opportunity in education, economic mobility, and democracy.
We are driven by the belief that those who are closest to an issue or challenge are also those with the best solutions. We invest in organizations whose leaders are proximate to the communities they serve, enabling them to engage with, learn from, and co-design with their constituents.
We seek leaders and organizations that also recognize the power of working across historical lines of difference—whether that be racial identity, generation, or sector—to solve problems and build systems that deliver better outcomes.
Three levels of funding and strategic support.
Catalyze
$100,000 in unrestricted grants, $10,000 of funding for leadership development, strategic advisory support and a peer learning community for one year.
Build
$1.5 million multi-year unrestricted grants and deep, strategic advisory support from a dedicated New Profit Deal Partner.
Transform
$3M multi-year unrestricted grants, advisory support and a dedicated Deal Partner for alumni organizations navigating significant inflection points.

Our selection process
We approach our investment selection with deep curiosity and a focus on building relationships and mutual understanding. We aim to identify the most promising, proximate social entrepreneurs with high potential for impact.
