Hassan Hassan

Hassan is a Deal Partner on the Portfolio Investing team at New Profit, where he provides strategic advising and capacity-building support to Build Investments as they navigate organizational change and growth. He also leads the Mental Health Equity Catalyze cohort, delivering programming, coaching, and community-building for early-stage organizations. In his role, Hassan partners with social entrepreneurs to achieve their vision for transformative impact while fostering leadership development and sustainability.

Prior to joining New Profit, Hassan served as CEO of 4.0, a national incubator that connects, coaches, and invests in over 100 diverse social entrepreneurs annually to pilot their visions for promising learning models. During his tenure, 4.0 received a New Profit Build investment and grew to a community of over 1,800 founders across 45 states, collectively serving over a million youth and families annually. Before becoming CEO, Hassan held roles as COO and Director of Investments at 4.0 and worked as a consultant with Education Resource Strategies and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Hassan lives with his wife in New Orleans, where he enjoys learning old family recipes, playing pickleball, and riding with the Krewe of Freret.
