Geme Nwachukwu

As an Associate on the Investor Relations team, Geme supports donor research, data management, and internal operations that power New Profit’s fundraising strategy. Her work focuses on identifying aligned funders, maintaining key systems, and contributing to the internal processes that strengthen New Profit’s relationships with individual donors. She is excited to support New Profit’s mission by helping identify and engage donors who share its values.

Geme began her career with AmeriCorps, where she served as a Community Engagement and Disaster Preparedness Coordinator with the Snohomish County Health Department. She then completed a Research and Development Fellowship at Vote Run Lead Action, focusing on donor prospecting, fundraising analytics, and strategic research to support pro-democracy initiatives. Her background spans public health, civic engagement, and development, with experience building systems from the ground up, supporting cross-functional teams, and connecting people to mission-driven work.

Geme earned her B.A. in Political Science with an International Security Concentration from the University of Washington. She was drawn to New Profit’s bold approach to social change and commitment to equity, and she’s excited to contribute to a team that values relationships, strategy, and lasting impact.
