Elizabeth is a Senior Partner at New Profit focused on building the leadership development practice as well as coaching the senior leadership team and Deal Partners. In her coaching practice, Elizabeth builds upon the research-backed Leading Through Relationships (LTR) model, and leverages her extensive experience collaborating with CEOs and their leadership teams at the intersection of strategy, leadership, and organizational development.
Elizabeth is known for her ability to develop deep empathic partnerships with her clients, allowing them to co-create a customized path to unlock their strengths and accelerate their growth and impact as leaders. She started working with New Profit in its early founding days and has held successive leadership roles, helping to create New Profit’s approach to investing and portfolio management, building and leading the portfolio team and developing and driving New Profit’s overall strategy. Throughout her tenure, she has worked as a strategic advisor, board member, and coach to many of the CEOs of New Profit’s portfolio organizations, including MLT, LIFT, Turnaround for Children, and Throughline Learning.
Prior to joining New Profit, Elizabeth worked as a strategy consultant for eight years at the Monitor Group and Arthur D. Little, where she advised corporate and social sector clients. She also has experience in education both as a classroom teacher and consultant on development projects across the U.S., Latin America, and Africa.
Elizabeth graduated from Georgetown University with a BS in Foreign Service and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School. Elizabeth has lived and worked in four continents and is fluent in French and proficient in Spanish and Italian.
