Chris Bell

Special Projects
In his role at New Profit, Chris works in the Office of Co-CEO Tulaine Montgomery, managing special projects, assisting with emergent opportunities, and ensuring appropriate coordination with external partners and internal supporting staff to support the Co-CEO’s overall field leadership priorities.
Before joining New Profit, Chris worked for SEED SPOT, a national social-impact incubator that seeks to educate, accelerate, and invest in entrepreneurs creating solutions to social problems. While there, Chris supported early-stage social entrepreneurs by providing access to a network of mentors, investors, and other resources, as they sought to incubate, accelerate, and scale their ventures. He also supported entrepreneurial communities in his former roles at Alley powered by Verizon and Cambridge Innovation Center, where he managed on-site co-working operations, community events, and member experience.
While a native Minnesotan, Chris started his career in St. Louis, Missouri, where he gained a wide range of experiences in government, electoral politics, and public relations through his time at FleishmanHillard and his participation in the Coro™ Fellows Program in Public Affairs. He graduated in 2017 with a B.S. in Health Management from Saint Louis University.
