Portfolio
Carrie is a Partner on the portfolio team, where she advises leaders of portfolio organizations at the intersection of strategy, equity, and growth. Using a people-centered approach, she works to develop and unstick leaders and teams so that they can bring the best out of one another to drive outsized impact.
Prior to her current role, Carrie served on New Profit’s leadership team and was responsible for operationalizing the organization’s strategy and commitment to centering equity. She previously helped launch and lead several funds across New Profit’s portfolio including the Pathways Fund, a Social Innovation Fund initiative focused on strengthening education-to-employment pathways for underserved youth.
The through line of Carrie’s work is building human connection and belonging, rooted in work earlier in her career at organizations seeking to disrupt and rebuild the U.S. immigration and refugee resettlement systems. She began her career capturing the life stories of people seeking asylum and deportation relief – a role where she first understood the importance of listening and the power of storytelling.
Carrie holds a B.A. in History from Boston College and a Master’s degree from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, where she studied forced migration, NGO management, and program evaluation.
She lives outside Boston with her partner and son.
