Caroline Graham

Caroline joined New Profit in its early days starting as the sole administrative person. After a nine-year tenure, she decided to work closer to home in the seacoast region and moved to a position at the Advising and Career Center at UNH. As fate would have it, Caroline just couldn’t stay away and rejoined New Profit in her previous capacity as Vanessa’s EA and the rest is (happy) history! A colleague once created mock business cards with the title “Chief Historical Knowledge Officer” because she’s been here for so long!

Caroline found her way to New Profit by following her passion for helping people. While attending college at Northeastern, she was required to hold a volunteer position for a college course. Her first night on the job answering the phone at Pine Street Inn, a homeless shelter, she missed every call because she was so interested in the guests and their life stories. The course ended; Caroline stayed and went on to join the staff. Those years were the foundation of what Caroline calls her true calling to work in the nonprofit sector. After Pine Street, she worked in the for-profit sector at Monitor Group, establishing the role of recruiting coordinator and global training coordinator, and loved helping people through the hiring process.
