Bhavana Chilukuri

Prior to joining New Profit, Bhavana was with the Dalberg Group for several years, first as a project manager at Dalberg Advisors, where she supported clients like Room to Read, the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition, and the Gavi Vaccine Alliance; and, most recently as director of programs for Dalberg Catalyst, a US 501c3 focused on building multi-stakeholder initiatives that address systems problems, including one to prevent future pandemics through nature-based solutions. She has also worked as an independent consultant for a variety of actors, ranging from large food and beverage companies and humanitarian aid organizations. Most of her work has been focused internationally and at the intersection of health, food security, and conservation. Previously, Bhavana has worked in human rights research and advocacy at Amnesty International and as a primary school teacher to first-generation learners in western India. Bhavana received her MA in International Development from Johns Hopkins SAIS and a dual BA in Economics and History from the University of Maryland.
