Recidivism Reduction Educational Programs Services’ (RREPS) aim is to address systemic injustices and unconscious biases within the judicial system with direct and/or indirect methods. They provide high-level criminal justice policy reform and advocacy with a strong emphasis on the carceral state while also providing educational resources that will aid in the elimination of the recidivism cycle.
Kerwin Pittman’s lived experience of spending 11 1/2 years incarcerated, with over a year in solitary confinement, motivated him to start his own nonprofit. He is the Founder and Executive Director of Recidivism Reduction Educational Program Services, Inc.
